Sumo Robotics prep

The teams are diligently workig on there robots for there upcomming Sumo Turniment.  Each team will design, build and program a robot that will attempt to force another teams robot off of the circular battle board.  Winning team gets bragging rights and an opurtunity to do it again next year.

Working away

Students are diligently working on there Lego robots.  Last week we had the robots solve a simple maze.  We used two sensors and there was lots of success.

Woodland Star Robotics 18-19 session has started.  So far we have learned about how our ultra-sonic range finders work and how to get our robots to move.  We are using a robot kit that was ordered from amazon.  The kit is relatively inexpensive, and functional.
